DxDiag can help with:
- Obtaining information about your computer’s software and hardware, e.g., which graphics card you have, whether the operating system is 64-bit, etc.
- Generating a report that helps Technical Support identify the source of an issue and provide assistance more quickly.
How to create a diagnostic report (DxDiag):
- On the keyboard, press Windows key + R.
- In the newly opened Run window type dxdiag (without quotes) and click the OK button.
- Click on Save All Information... and save the file to your hard drive.
- Click the Exit button to quit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
