Requirements - is my Windows 64-bit?

To run The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt you need a 64-bit Windows 7 or 8. 
How to check if your PC is running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?

Windows 7

  1. Click Start button.
  2. Right-click Computer and then click Properties. Note: In case you cannot find Computer please type system in the Search Programs and Files field, and then click System in the Programs list. Do not press ENTER after typing system, instead wait until the search has generated its list.
  3. The operating system version appears as follows: For a 64-bit: 64-bit Operating System appears as the System type For a 32-bit: 32-bit Operating System appears as the System type

Windows 8

  1. Point the mouse cursor to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
  2. Type system in the search box, and then click Settings.
  3. Click System.
  4. The operating system version appears as follows: For a 64-bit: 64-bit Operating System appears as the System type For a 32-bit: 32-bit Operating System appears as the System type
