For optimal experience, Ray Tracing is not applied in the default “For this Mac” preset, regardless of your hardware’s capabilities. If you’d like to play with Ray Tracing on, you will have to enable it manually. To do this, go to Settings → Graphics and in the Quick Preset section, and either switch the “For this Mac” preset to one of the Ray Tracing presets, or enable Ray Tracing individually in the Ray Tracing section.
Note that Ray Tracing is available on M3 and newer chips.
