Over the years following the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we have continued improving the game through updates, technical enhancements, and new adventures for Geralt. As we continue expanding it with new content, our focus is shifting toward current-generation hardware.

Since Songs of the Past is being built on the foundation laid by The Witcher 3 Next Gen Update that we released in 2022, the upcoming expansion and updates will not be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. This will allow us to focus development efforts on current-generation consoles and deliver the best possible experience by taking advantage of modern hardware.

At the same time, The Witcher 3, as well as the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, will remain available and will continue to work on previous-generation consoles in the current version. Also, we will keep providing technical support for them, as we do now.
