The Witcher 2 - Manual Installation/Update

To manually install/update the disc version of the game to the Enhanced Edition, download all of the parts listed below, along with any optional language packs you need.

IMPORTANT: This update method is not recommended for copies purchased through Steam, because it could break the compatibility with Steam. To update the game purchased through Steam, use Steam's built-in update feature.

Before downloading, make sure you have enough space on your hard drive and that your security software isn't interfering with the download or installation process.

After you finish downloading, make sure that all of the installation files are in the same folder and run the Patch.exe file.

NOTE: If you are prompted for an automatic update, select “NO”.
